Sarah Galbraith set up the Galbraith Muir Consultancy in 1998, having previously spent ten years in industrial research, followed by a number of high-profile marketing roles in the chemical industry. Consequently, she has a valuable, and unusual, mix of skills and experience.
Most of her clients work in, or act as service organisations to, technologically based industries such as engineering, chemicals, biotechnology etc, and have a particular need for marketing experts who understand the needs – and the working styles – of scientists and technologists. The clients have come from both public and private sectors, but all are concerned with the promotion of better customer/supplier relationships.
Throughout the lifetime of the Galbraith Muir Consultancy, a valuable network of associates has been built up, and is still growing. These associates are capable of addressing related topics as training, communications, PR and design.
The Galbraith Muir Consultancy is therefore able to undertake projects which range in scale from the design of a small-scale communication programme, to broad-ranging, culture change programmes in international organisations.
